Holistic Therapy by Jill Lusk

Holistic therapies have been a great passion in life now for almost 20 years, and for the past 17 years I have loved every moment of my job. Bringing peace, relaxation, healing, and joy to people has been deeply fulfilling and I thrive on being able to help my clients. 

My journey began in 2005 when I undertook an HND in Complementary Therapies at Glasgow's Central College of Commerce, where I learned Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Indian Head Massage, and Reflexology. Following my HND, I continued to develop my Holistic skills and went on to complete courses in Hot Stone Therapy and Reiki Levels 1 & 2. Some years later in 2014 I qualified as a Reiki Master, and have been teaching Reiki 1 & 2 courses from my home for the past 10 years.

Shortly after college, I began working at Stobo Castle Health Spa as a Spa Therapist. I was trained in many new luxury spa treatments during my time there, and gained invaluable experience and confidence, providing high quality treatments.   

I went on to work at an upmarket city centre salon in Glasgow, where I continued to develop as a therapist, training in all beauty treatments. During this time I also rented a room within a Glasgow health club salon where I offered Reflexology and Indian Head Massage. I also spent time as a volunteer therapist each month at a The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice and Gartnavel General Hospital, providing holistic treatments for patients and carers. 

In 2011 I launched Holistic Therapy by Jill Lusk, and have been practising as a mobile therapist in and around the Glasgow and Lanarkshire area now for 13 years. I very much enjoy the level of holistic care I can provide when treating people in their own environment. The biggest advantage to giving treatments at home is the personal touch. I am able to spend quality time with my clients, fully discussing their requirements, and creating highly personalised treatments, completely tailored to meet their needs. 

Over the years the business has evolved to offer Reiki training, as well as both adult and kids Pamper Parties, alongside the holistic treatments. I feel very blessed to have a wonderful loyal client base of extremely lovely people, which is continually growing and expanding. 

Today, I split my time between Holistic Therapies by Jill Lusk and my home fragrance business Jill Lusk Luxury Handmade Scents, making candles and other home fragrance products.
